wherezanna replied to your post: Question for all my Mormon followers out there.
Take her to a less expensive restaurant, but make sure it’s not somewhere with a value menu. (so.. Cafe Rio/Kneaders=good).Or, I’d say ask her to go dancing at a club that plays some slower music too. Shows interest, but club = casual. Helpful?
I like this a lot. Unfortunately, clubs seem to have some sort of a stigma in Provo as well (our equivalent is country dancing?). If I can find a way to make it work, though, I would still like to. It’s a great idea. Also, I really like the idea of Cafe Rio or Kneaders for a lunch idea. Good call on the no-value-menu rule. :) Very helpful, thank you.
Dude. If some guy said, “Let’s go get hot chocolate sometime,” I’d be smiling from ear to ear. Could you say like, “We should get lunch sometime,”? Lunch isn’t as “formal” as dinner in my opinion but would still show someone you’re interested.
I like that you would be so flattered if a guy invited you to get hot chocolate. Haha. Maybe I will still do that, then. :) Also, I love the lunch idea. I think I’ll couple that with the other “less expensive restaurant but no value menu” rule. I think those combined together would be great. Much obliged for your response! It’s always nice to get a fresh view on these things.
I have no idea, but if you find out, let me know, because there has to be SOMEthing. (Useless reply is useless. Sorry.)
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one struggling with this! Fortunately, I have some great followers who were willing to provide answers. I’m still open to any more suggestions if anyone out there has some! Thanks, guys. :)
